Terulia Forum Terms of Service

Definitions

The "Service" refers to any and all services hosted at www.terulia.com.

"ToS" refers to the Terms of Service, which may be found at http://www.terulia.com/?cmd=ToS.

Usage Agreement

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to abide by the ToS.

Use of all Terulia forums, whether public and private, requires compliance with the ToS.

The Service is offered free for use "as-is", with no guarantees expressed or implied.

Accounts may be suspended, banned, or deleted at any time for any reason by the Terulia forum staff.

Changes to the ToS may be made at any time without notice and put into effect immediately.

The Service will never give out or sell sensitive user information, including user e-mail addresses, to third parties.

Access to internal server files is restricted, and access to sensitive information is prevented where possible.

As an additional safeguard, user passwords are protected by double-layered password encryption.

The Service uses cookies to handle user login and internal location tracking.

Guests are welcome to disable cookies but should be aware that this will interfere with site functionality.

Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Use of the DART cookie enables Google it to serve ads to users based on visits to this and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

Third-party advertising companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services which may be of interest to you. Minimum Age

Terulia forum registration and use is prohibited to anyone under the age of 13.

Users under the minimum age requirement will have their accounts deleted without warning.

Prohibitions

Posts containing illegal content (or links to illegal content) are strictly prohibited.

Any content considered illegal by Florida statutes or United States federal law is prohibited.

This includes (but is not limited to) libelous posts, copyright/trademark infringement, pornography, computer hacking & viruses, ROMs & video game emulation, cracks/warez/CD-keys/serial numbers, and pirated music & movies.

Harassment of users in public forums is prohibited.

Enforcement

Users who fail to abide by the ToS risk having their accounts suspended, banned, or deleted and their content edited or removed.

Limitation of Liability

You understand and agree that the Terulia forum staff is not liable for any damages or losses that may occur as a result of forum use.

You understand that users are responsible for maintaining account security and password integrity. The Terulia staff will never ask for user passwords.

You understand that the Terulia forum staff is in no way responsible for mediating disputes between forum users.

The Service makes no guarantees, expressed or implied, against loss (of potentially irreplaceable data) due to disk failure, data corruption, termination of service, overzealous moderation, acts of God, or any of a million other reasons for losing forum data.

While the Service makes every attempt to maintain data security, the Service does not guarantee against damages caused by external attacks, hacking, or theft of sensitive information.

Legal Disputes

The ToS is governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the laws of the United States.

Any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with the ToF shall be adjudicated in Leon County, Florida.
