On this day, a mortal died. His name was Maoi, and he chose to die on his own whim. But his death wasn't the end; he challenged Cea, and in doing so, broke free from the shackles of mortality. In his test against Cea, he was asked a single question:

"Why do you willingly choose to die, my child?"

To which, Maoi replied:

"This is not my death. I came here for you to give me something."

Bewildered, Cea asked what Maoi wanted.

"The world has much suffering, and there are those who cannot receive the help they desperately need. So I will help them. I ask of you, lend me your divine power."

"In doing this, you will never be able to return to this heaven, and you will never be able to leave the earth below. Such a sacrifice is needed for such a bold wish."

"This is my birth into eternal life. I will save those who need to be saved with infinite power, even if it means that I will sacrifice being mortal, the ability to die and to pass on into your paradise."

Maoi had challenged Cea, and tied. Giving up the afterlife for the ability to be forever alive on Earth, Maoi returned from Cea. Those who saw his return dubbed him the Grease, the Marquess Canttouchdis.
