Has anyone tried to leveling thrown it yet? Doesn't seem to be going up, in 14 levels of trying to prof it on my bb not a single prof. Is it bugged?

You guys probably don't have enough allowance. Sadly it proffs pretty slowly (at least in my opinion) and it uses allowance from your weapon's allowance. A trick I've used a bit is to throw things (rocks) a few times then kill monsters with weapons (assuming you're on a melee character).
