Passive effects have replaced suffixes in Terulia.

Certain weapons will have passives on them as described in the table below. The names of the passives are not important as you will not see these names in the game. Knowing what they do is the important part. The chance of a passive effect working is based on your proficiency with said weapon. Specifics further than that will not be released.

Block: Works the same as shielding.

Swiftness: Removed delay before attack.

Pierce: Ignores target's DR/Def.

Armor Damage: Deals increased durability damage to armor. If not armor is worn, targeted player takes increased damage.

Weapon Damage: Deals durability damage to targeted player's weapon. If no weapon is equipped, targeted player takes increased damage.

Stamina Damage: Damages targeted player's stamina.

Knockback: Knocks target back one tile.

Trip: Target is momentarily tripped and unable to act.

Magus: Removes delay before casting.

Negation: Nullifies negative magic.

Disarm: unequips target's primary weapon. If inventory is full the disarmed weapon will drop to the ground.

Blackout: Target's screen momentarily goes black.
