It's not even the ponies I hate. It's the people/bronies/whatever that follow the franchise as if it were a religion and use it solely to boost themselves above others.

That isn't to say all bronies are like that, but there are many I'm aware of that are probably a bit more than fangirl status when it comes to how much they idolize MLP, and that is what I can't stand about the fanbase.
