Similar to how the current "Time" or "Ranks" button works in FFO, or as a filter ("pos"/"position" can filter to your location in chat). Or both.

Each continent would have it's own "center" tile which can be used to determine where the player is by their coordinates. For example, the well in NB could be NB's (0,0), or the hut in Vorg or something similar.

Clicking the "Position" button would give you some text similar to
Your current location is (6,6) on New Banian.

This represents 6 tiles east and 6 tiles north of the well in NB.

For underground/indoor areas, it can simply say
Your current location is underground/indoors on New Banian.

Alternatively, a simple "position" button that reports your current continent/zone
("Vorgardia - Marsh Ruins Floor 3B").

great for people like me who cant navigate their way out of a cardboard box. and newbies. it doesnt really fit gaku's designs and ideas though.

also why did you add walking ponies gaku? it's not that's it's a pony, it's that it's distracting and sometimes view blocking.

1) Perfect version.

2) Even assuming imperfection, this would be extremely high-effort, at least for FFO.

Well.

****. I didn't notice that.

Using FFO location terms did not help though.

reply to Cea:

I kind of stared at my computer myself for that one, because I specifically went to check if it was mentioned this would be for Terulia.

I can be dumb occasionally too, apparently.
