Instead of being a complete block like with shields, Heavy Armor should provide a chance of causing an attack to deal greatly reduced damage but not fully block it.

Daggers/Hammers/Maces or certain weapon types can have a lower chance of being blocked as they are known to be effective against armor.

Light armor can have a chance as well, but much lower (Say, 1/4th the block chance progression as Heavy, meaning Light armor requiring prof 40 would block like Heavy prof 10), as right now if gear translates similarly to Terulia, Light armor is nearly worthless.

how about we give the light armor attack back and leave heavy as it is that would be cool.
