The server up right now is pretty darn dead. And the few people who play would really like the newer version of FFO hosted.

So suggestion is: Have Gaku host the newer and good FFO. And have that one cheat-server continue hosting the old FFO. The people on that server are the ones who want old FFO anyways so this would work out perfectly.

Experience was cute for like a month but now it's getting boring and with two servers up, the playerbase was shot to hell. At the very least, if the most recent hosting was restored, the people who didn't like the revert in the first place have something to play (which is a lot more people than most people would think).

Not to mention all the updates over the past two years coming back into play so that some things aren't completely useless (see: Chain Lit, Light Armor, Speeds on a Ninja) and other things that were overall much better for the game (see: Mage armor, fixing Marcus' stupid Garland updates, Sankora being bigger, spears, pvp protection/penalty, unengraving other people's stuff, no more muling, blah blah blah).

Plus no more duping bugs. Not like they're much of a problem now but I think we'd all be better off if they flat-out didn't exist.

But only if you have the time to be serious with it because with how little the game has now having just that up would be sad. So yeah, I dunno. I could map for days and I'm sure some of the new blood could do so, too. As well as prepare conversation trees if you taught us.

This is awesome and I can almost imagine a world where Cea and I make map after map of complete awesomeness but, I dunno, the odds of this one are slim.

I think if it goes back to new ffo, that it should be a PWipe and not back up saves to start up fresh, just my 5 Cents.
