I would like to know why people exactly complain about them....

My cure 3 is more a life saver than any of my spells in a huge party. it heals for 2x my heal even on the edge of it. The center is 3x-4x stronger than the center of heal. Its also great when theres a LOT of undeads around and everyone is taking mass damage.

My Light 3 is very good at crowd control when i feel like strolling NB, and its good at smiting newbies when i feel like randomly going around dealing 50-100 damage to them. and its great on undeads, i've done just as much on the center of L3 as i have with L1. L2 might be better on a small area of clusterd undeads but L3 has proven to be worth casting in a huge cluster of enemeies, even if they resist Light.

I've seen a few BW's with Teir 3's and since they've proffed them high enough they sometimes hit harder than teir 2's in the center, and still deal decent damage to everything in the AOE.

From what i can tell the only problem with Teir 3's is the cost which starts off at 18 or 20... and goes up every two to three profs off and on from what i rember. my cure 3 costs 28 and its proffed to like 20, but then again its worth the cost. Hell the recoil isint as bad as people made it off to be, i mean at least they arent as bad as status spells......

I'm not sure what your cure 3 is at...but earlier when you cure 3'd me while I was asking people for their souls in Sankora, you were only healing half to about 4/6ths of my hp with it.

I hope your cure 3 ISN'T stronger than your cure 1 or 2.

Last hosting my tier 3's were all 51, tier 1's and 2's were 63, and my fire 3 outdamaged my fire 2 by about 100 points of damage on a lucky shot. And this is against frost wolves which are notoriously weak to fire so the difference was noticable, against something that doesn't resist magic but isn't weak to the element (think ice 2 vs ice 3 on a sandman) the difference was completely negligible. My only use for tier 3's was to show-off, weakin a large swarm all at once, wipe out a ton of monsters that I know are about to die, or hit something off screen by turf-casting at the edge of my vision.

I dunno what tier 3's your looking at...O_O

Still, heal is so much faster than cure 3, that in the same amount of time you could get off 2 cure 3's I'd expect heal could have restored more total hp already.

I think tier 3's are just fine. You can easily get them to do more damage than your tier 1/2's, and they're incredibly useful for domain warfare (even moreso if using Fire 3, due to it burning+annihilating the army). The delay is not that bad, either. People really do over exaggerate.
