![]() distance: 18.5 miles total confirmed miles to date: 843 Back in the day, the East River Pool and the lower St. Marks River were two of the many obstacles that Narvaez faced during his failed expedition through Florida in the 1520s. Today, the East River Pool is blocked off from the East River, the East River is a polluted tidal creek, and the lower St. Marks is overrun with inconsiderate motorboating sons-a-bitches. While the East River is no longer technically a river (no flow of its own thanks to its separation from the Pool), it is still a river in name, thus I set out to conquer it. East River: completed ![]() seems he caught something, a crab perhaps? ![]() ![]() tide coming in over the oyster bars ![]() rocky island in the St. Marks ![]() had to get out and walk over a sandbar (low tide) and saw this little guy nearby ![]() looking up the East River At this point my camera died thanks to a breaker sent over my bow by a large yacht in the St. Marks River. It's okay though; the only other picture I would have taken was the dam between the Pool and the East River. That's all for the day. _________________________________________ ScouSin: Damn you Gaku! Those jackass motor boat users are so inconsiderate!
What is that in the second to last picture? Is it a ray or something? _________________________________________ Signatures are SO last decade.

Have you ever picked fresh oysters from the oyster bar?

I've had an oyster from one of those "polluted river" and if you cook them thouroughly they taste fantastic, you should give them a shot next time gaku.
