Ok, awhile ago I might of mentioned to a few ffo users that Archael made a hack MOD of fft it it's called FFT V1.3.
Apparently he made a nifty vid that I think is nifty.

FFT V1.3 is a Hard mode patch that makes the game really hard and has many changes in it such as in the classes and such + buffed AI, new bosses + big challenges, this game is HARD; I know because I tried it and got pwned really badly on it. So anyways just showing this and seeing if your interested, if you want to try the patch, check arch's FFT website, he has his patch there. Also this game has stuff that many of us wanted on it, so you will be satisfied.

I saw another mod a wee while ago that revamped a huge chunk of the game, with tweaks like making Mime easier to get (Still largely useless by the time you get it though) and giving archers innate Ignore Height. As well as a few other changes that also gave it a hard-mode flair.

I've not tried it myself, though, I have a PSX emulator and FFT, but I know nothing of ripping and editing ISO files.
