The useless egotism is cute but let's stick to what's useful.

Since I haven't played at all, not even a secret alt, I can't weigh in as much as I would want to. So a request:

Can we get an accurate list of the changes Marcus had Gakumerasara implement into the game? Then we could decide what's a detriment to the game and possibly what's good to keep. If another p-wipe does come around, it would be best to do all the fine-tuning months or weeks before it happens, instead of deciding on the spot the day before it happens.

I would add more to the topic but there's only so much I can say while being completely clueless.

How long did the other hosting last for? I got in a few months late. Was it 1.5 years? This hosting has only lasted 5 months so far.

So this hosting started on November 21. It took 1-2 months for people to level up and train and such. By January 8-16 people reached a point where they were ready for war and true sides were drawn. The war lasted maybe 2 months and now we have reached a point that people are calling for p-wipes because they are bored.

I doubt we'll ever get a comprehensive list, since to my understanding a lot of that was changes Marcus made and handed to Gaku and Gaku put them in the game without looking at them. We can probably get a pretty damn good list from player input, though, a lot of us have been playing since this started.

Jeebs: Keep in mind the 300% exp rate and level 20 cap this time around too.

It'd be nice to have incentives to own domains. There really are none at the moment. Maybe domain dungeons or something only accessible by citizens. Make the dragon dens only accessible to the people who own domains.

How about stat boosts that don't stack? The main issue with them was when the whole world would get linked in one giant clusterfuck under one domain so someone could have max bonuses, which as I recall were pretty high.

Also, we haven't had these since 3.5, when stats were insane anyway. I don't think it would hurt to try it out again.

Well, having exclusive access to dragons would be exclusive access to a good source of good equipment. I'd rather not restrict certain parts of the game by domain ownership, for that sort of thing, I think its better to have to protect it. That way the other party still has a chance without taking the domain.

I really don't have any better ideas for incentives to owning a domain though.

I agree with Dean that domain bonuses suck. The system was being used in a way that was not intended. Leaders of domains even received double the bonuses compared to regular citizens.

I do like the idea of a dungeon ability for domains.

I also thought before that domains should/could have a jailhouse type building that can be used to house criminals.

This would go well with if ever there is a system where outlaws/criminals can be captured and held for a small period of time instead of the cube (which is broken anyways), and makes it so that players can enforce their own laws in the game world.

Like Dean said there is no real benefit in owning a domain anymore except to make PC houses. Burning domains serve no real benefit either but most people enjoy watching things burn.

Ok, to add more input on what I was saying in my last post, here it goes.

This version seems dull. I mean, the training is the same but then again, it isn't. You're only level 20, capped, and yet can't solo anywhere without 3 wayfarer pieces. And when I mean, solo, I mean (run).

I like how the last version was, it was alright. You know, once you've gotten strong, it was much better. You could solo, pvp, associate etc. This version it's like, ha, bla, yeeee. Yea, I'm stronger then you, D3 (fizz) Oh cure (fizz) White Wizards are soo strong (lies). Anyways, to sum it up, don't add ridiculous shit that don't need to be added.

Listening to marcus now have me like, what is the point in playing, it's nothing to do, it has me even debating about deleting my char.
